Is your site set up to be found?
We check everything that stops Google from crawling and indexing your pages correctly — before we look at anything else.
- Crawlability — can Google actually reach every page
- Indexation status — what's in Google's index vs what should be
- Robots.txt and sitemap configuration
- Redirect chains, broken links and 404 errors
- Canonical tags — duplicate content signals
- HTTPS and security setup
📄
Are your pages telling Google what they're about?
The signals on each individual page that tell search engines — and visitors — exactly what you offer.
- Title tags and meta descriptions — clarity and keyword fit
- Heading structure (H1–H3) — logic and hierarchy
- Keyword usage — natural, not stuffed
- Internal linking — are your pages connecting the right way
- Image alt text and file naming
- URL structure — clean, readable, consistent
⚡
How fast does your site actually load?
Speed is a ranking factor and a conversion factor. Slow pages lose both rankings and customers. We test both mobile and desktop.
- Core Web Vitals — LCP, CLS and INP scores
- Time to First Byte (TTFB)
- Image optimisation — oversized files dragging load time
- JavaScript and CSS bloat
- Caching and hosting performance
- Specific files flagged for fixing
✍️
Is your content good enough to rank?
We read your pages, not just crawl them. Thin or vague content is one of the most common reasons sites stall in rankings.
- Thin pages — too little depth to rank competitively
- Duplicate or near-duplicate content across pages
- Keyword cannibalisation — pages fighting each other
- Topical gaps — subjects your competitors cover that you don't
- Content freshness and update signals
- E-E-A-T signals — expertise, experience, authority, trust
📍
Are you visible when local customers search?
If your business serves a specific area, local visibility is often the fastest win. We check every local signal that matters.
- Google Business Profile — completeness and optimisation
- NAP consistency — name, address, phone across the web
- Local citations — directories and data aggregators
- Review signals — quantity, recency, response patterns
- Local landing pages — do they exist and do they work
- Google Maps pack visibility for key search terms
🔗
Who is linking to your site — and does it help?
Links from other websites are still one of Google's strongest trust signals. Quality matters far more than quantity.
- Domain authority and link strength overview
- Toxic or spammy links that could be hurting you
- Anchor text distribution — natural vs over-optimised
- Competitor link gap — sites linking to them but not you
- Lost links — previously earned links that have disappeared
- Link acquisition opportunities specific to your niche
📱
Does your site work properly on a phone?
Google indexes the mobile version of your site first. If the mobile experience is broken or slow, your rankings suffer regardless of the desktop version.
- Mobile-first indexing readiness check
- Tap target sizes — buttons and links easy to press
- Viewport configuration and responsive layout
- Text readability without zooming
- Mobile page speed separate from desktop
- Intrusive interstitials — pop-ups penalised by Google
🧩
Are you giving Google the context it needs?
Schema is structured data that helps Google understand exactly what your pages are about — and can unlock rich results in search.
- Existing schema — what's present and whether it's valid
- Errors and warnings flagged by Google's Rich Results Test
- Missing schema types relevant to your business
- LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, Review schema opportunities
- Breadcrumb List and Site Links eligibility
- Structured data for AI search citation readiness
🤖
Can AI systems actually find and cite you?
ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews now drive real traffic. Most audits don't check this at all. We do, because ignoring it in 2025 is leaving visibility on the table.
- AEO readiness — answer structure and featured snippet eligibility
- Google AI Overview eligibility signals
- Content clarity — can AI extract a direct answer from your pages
- Perplexity and ChatGPT citation signals
- FAQ and How-To structure for AI surface formatting
- Entity clarity — does Google know what your business is
🏆
Why are your competitors outranking you?
We look at 3 businesses ranking above you in your market and work backwards from their advantage so you know exactly what you're up against.
- 3 direct competitors identified and reviewed
- Keywords they rank for that your site is missing
- Content depth differences on key landing pages
- Backlink gap — links driving their authority
- Technical and speed advantages they hold
- Quick wins — areas where you can close the gap fastest

Questions People Ask Before Submitting
Is it actually free? What's the catch?
It's free. We do it because a real audit usually surfaces something the business didn't know was wrong, and if they want help fixing it, they know where to come. But the audit is useful whether you hire us or not, and we won't follow up pushing you to.
How is this different from running my site through Semrush or Ahrefs?
Those tools tell you something exists. A person tells you whether it matters and what to do about it. They also miss things entirely — content quality, how your pages read, AI search visibility, why a competitor is outranking you. We use tools as a starting point, but everything in the report is written up by hand.
How long does it take to get the audit back?
3–5 business days. We don't rush it. Looking at 10 areas across your site and three competitors properly takes time. We'd rather take five days and send you something useful than turn something around in 24 hours that isn't.
Do you audit ecommerce stores as well as service sites?
Both. For ecommerce stores we pay close attention to product and category page structure, faceted navigation, and crawl budget. For service sites the focus shifts more toward local visibility, landing page structure, and content authority. The report reflects whichever type of site you have.
Will you try to sell me something at the end?
The follow-up call is optional and it's not a sales call. We'll go through the findings, answer questions, and leave it there. If you want to talk about working together after seeing the audit, that's a separate conversation — and only one you'd bring up.
My site is brand new. Is an audit still worth doing?
Especially so. Fixing SEO problems early is much simpler than going back to them later. For a new site we focus on the foundations: indexation setup, page structure, schema, speed baseline, and a content direction. Getting those right at the start saves a lot of work down the line.
